Day to Day itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Kigali Airport at 5 pm, pick and transfer to the booked accommodation for an overnight stay.

These seasoned guides impart essential information about the terrain, safety protocols, and the fascinating ecosystem that envelops the park. The briefing not only ensures a safe trekking experience but also enriches participants with a deeper understanding of the unique flora and fauna inhabiting the volcanic landscape. Following the briefing, embark on a thrilling Golden Monkey Trekking expedition, weaving through the lush forested trails and keeping a keen eye out for these enchanting primates. The trek promises not only the excitement of tracking the elusive golden monkeys but also a chance to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the park. Upon returning from the trek, the comfortable accommodations await, providing a well-deserved respite amid the stunning surroundings of Volcanoes National Park.

Day 4 : Drive back to Kigali and visit Genocide Memory

After breakfast, we’ll have a briefing with the Rangers in Volcanoes National Park. They will provide essential information about safety, the terrain, and the park’s ecosystem. Following the briefing, we’ll embark on the Golden Monkey Trekking Experience, navigating through the park’s lush trails to spot these fascinating primates. The trek promises both excitement and a deeper connection with the park’s natural beauty. Upon our return, we’ll relax at our accommodation. The next day, we’ll drive back to Kigali and visit the Genocide Memorial, a somber but essential experience to understand Rwanda’s history. Before leaving, we’ll also explore the serene Twin Lakes, Bulera and Buhonda, and if time allows, take a city tour to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Kigali.
